Mantaj Brar is an Assistant Professor and Surgeon-Investigator in the Division of General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in the Department of Surgery. Mantaj received his Medical Degree from the University of Toronto, and obtained both his residency training in General Surgery and his Colorectal surgery fellowship training at the University of Calgary. Following his clinical training, he obtained his MSc in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, UK.
Mantaj’s clinical focus is the surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and rectal cancer. His academic interests include population health outcomes in inflammatory bowel disease, and evaluation of statistical methods in the surgical research. |
